I'd love to make some (basic) BGM's for one or multiple of the FLAVR members, but I'm not really sure where to start in terms of tone matching or which one to create first - does anyone in the thread have a preference or suggestions to make? (name a member and some tracks that you think their bgm could be based on, etc). I mostly work with piano samples and some synths, but can flex (with questionable quality) into almost any soundfront.

I think a BGM for Marie could work well with some regal sounding grand piano, perhaps a waltz? I imagine you could also add some variation into it by also incorporating a music box in as well, I think there should be some OK free VSTs if you look for them if you work 100% digitally.

For Minta, I agree with what >>39102444 said, only adding on that if you know his style incorporating some aspects like dj S3RL's songs could work nicely. His style is mostly hardcore I believe, which doesn't intrinsically lend itself well to being loopable BGM but that comes by design I believe, up to the composer at that point to mess with it.

If you are okay with working with some guitars and a garage aesthetic, something indie sounding, or maybe classic Dad Rock would work well for Sena. Home depot theme already works well for her, you could include some metal and tool sfx as foley and percussion to assist with that look.

I'll have to think more on the others, might consider doing some myself.

The hoodie is really really generic and boring. It has 0 sex appeal and doesn't fit her, even if she's toned down and being closer to her normal self the hoodie is just bland.
It's the classic look for twitch 0viewtubers with no budget or creativity, usually because that's what they'd wear in real life. But vtubers are supposed to be more stylish and flashy than that.
It's fine if she didn't like just wearing a bra, maybe she found it too basic or tacky or she didn't feel comfortable wearing that all the time.
But she could still achieve something comfortable, stylish and sexy that could fit her.
There's Okayu's original design for example, still basically sweater too but looks so much better. Or her latest skin, it's just a regular shirt but it's fucking SEX.
Could also go for something like Fate's Tamamo spring casual skin which has a hoodie but it's open in the middle showing her underwear below so it remains casual but with sex appeal.
Another good example is Hoshikawa's original outfit, it could have been a plain white shirt and shorts but it's actually has a lot of personality and it's sexy so she gets a ton of fanart.

With chat interaction it's ok as long as it's a joke and people are aware of it, what matters is that the audience can tell it's all just joking and things don't come across as the streamer actually hating her audience or being resentful or spiteful.
If things remain cheesy and silly people can tell it's a joke, just throw a few nods and hints that make it obvious it's a joke.
Not quite a mesugaki but Pippa does banter with her chat very well lately, you can tell she gets mad at her chat and screams loudly and tells it to go fuck itself but she's always laughing while she does that and she immediately bounces back to being goofy and acting like her normal self.
Contrast that to Ame, who people often accuse of having a toxic relationship with her chat and often acting out of spite towards it.

I don't know how many of them are /here/ but some words of advice:
part of becoming a vtuber is realizing you're your own person now and when your oshi's streaming you need to either schedule things in advance so you'll have time to watch, or just accept you'll be overlapping them. Ending things prematurely because "oop, oshi's on" is disrespectful to your own audience. Maybe at this early stage they're here because of what inspired this group but after a certain point they'll only stick around because they're here for you.
and no raiding them isn't the answer. It comes off as desperate for attention, especially if they're much larger than you, it's the only person you ever raid and you do it every time.
Also don't be afraid to try and make friends outside of this group, there's tens of thousands of indies. Surely there's someone you can vibe with.

It seems there has been quite a bit of drama since I went to sleep so I’ll give my own opinion. I’m in the camp of, I think it’s fine having m*les around as long as everyone is having fun. I won’t watch them, but I also won’t say they aren’t allowed to exist. The goal of this whole FlaVR thing was for everyone to have fun and make a parody of corpos that actually worked after all.
