I don’t get how anyone can take a loot at FlaVR’s current situation, the clear impact of the male debuff and cannibalization already happening plus a new gen that just debuted and think “hey you know what we need? More acceleration, a more bloated roster, more members right now and MALES”

It's a fake company created by a known unicorn from a female only company and her chat, also kind of unicorns who are still the main audience for FlaVR.

Males were barely tolerated at best, two guys sneaked into two of the characters and people put up with it because they were still technically part of the original group so they’re technically babiniku and pretty much everyone still wants them to be replaced by actual girls who fit the characters like everyone else.
A random guy with an OC attaches himself to the group, but he’s relatd to one of the talents and he’s not actually too active so people are ok with it.
Then another guy joins but he’s a trap and an older Pippa design so he kinda gets a pass.
That should be as far as it goes.
The mpreg gen was clearly a joke within a joke, FlaVR was made up to be something that could hypotheticaly pass as a real company and could actually succeed, the mpregs were just a parody of FlaVR.
Adding an actual male gen would shift FlaVR from a Hololive/Phase Connect/Production Kawaii/Prism Project type company to a Nijisanji format, where there are guys and girls mixed in and freely cross interacting and collabing.
I get that guys outnumber girls in the community and a lot of them want a chance to start with an audience or to get closer to the girls but if people start generating a million OC’s and any guy can join the company will be eventually overwhelmed with male grifters and become so different from its original concept it’s just gonna end up losing whatever appeal it originally had and the audience it has left.

In order to compensate for their personal failures as a streamer, a male vtuber might start bragging about their access to female vtubers to the audience that refuses to watch him.
"I will fuck your oshi" and statements of the sort are usually the equivalent of someone losing on videogames and then writing "but I get laid" in the chat. Every male vtuber starts with the dream of becoming famous and when he realizes it isn't going to happen, he seeks for self value elsewhere. This is actually extremely common among failed vtubers about to graduate, those who are still trying to make it know better than antagonizing their potential viewers.

This vtuber is approaching his second year and his numbers barely pass 20. Now you know why.

I think the main problem is that a big aspect of going into indie VTubing is being able to choose your own design, which FlaVR doesn't really have, so the best we can do is just offer designs people would want to play. I guess I should get this out there for rep's sake. I have been thinking about picking up Jubilee ever since her lore was dropped on twitter. Originally I was interested in picking up Donna after she died with a voice changer (which I plan to use with Jubilee as well), but didn't pursue it because I didn't fit the character well. However, Jubilee's does vibe with me. Wanting to give others a chance to pick her up, I didn't jump on it. I decided I'd wait until the other Sweet positions were filled. If Jubilee wasn't picked then I would pick her up. I still plan to do this.
After the whole M*le drama though I felt like I should tell you all my plan of playing Jubilee with a voice changer. The atmosphere has soured badly, like another anon has said, and I feel like it would be better to lay my intentions out in case it happens.

I think babiniku might be a better route for FlaVR's sake because at least it acts as a barrier for a lot of the guys. So it's sort of like a filter that prevents the floodgates from being fully open to any male grifters.
And at least aesthetically it preserves the original concept of the group. Even if a couple of the girls are just guys at least it still looks like a bunch of girls which is what it was supposed to be.
This shit is still all just for fun so if anyone wants to join nothing can really stop them but they can at least be mindful of what's best for everyone already involved.
