They're not comparable, the falloff can be attributed entirely to the fact they put them at a retarded time.

Also Vesper was the last to debut, but ended up being the one who gets 4-7k CCV so debut numbers may not correlate with success. Tempus2 might be saved by the fact that they're so unwanted that Susan won't think their sub growth is suspicious enough to slash.

It's telling that a brand new EN generation from the legendary blue triangle received less fanfare than Lazulight getting 3D - a group of people who debuted to only 9-14k people when they started. Having less subs and less viewers than the gen that came before means you've already hit market cap and can't go any further.

There is a monumental, NijiEN-sized wall preventing Hololive from continued growth in the EN market and that wall was only erected because Cover were both too scared to pull the trigger on a StarsEN first and lacked the impetus to keep serving fans they knew would eat up any shit given to them.

Tempus2 and the current state of StarsEN is what happens when a corporation loses its identity in pursuit of money.
