First off, thanks for giving it a read and the thoughtful feedback. The three of you seem to be hitting pretty similar beats in regards to what I can be doing better, which is great. When I write HJ, I get very focused in almost every scene and step as they connect to one another, which ends up making the chapters super long, so for this I tried a less is more approach with the scenes. Part of that I think stemmed from being self-conscious of how stuff I write tends to get really long, and I know that can turn some people off. I can kinda see how I went a little too far in the other direction though, now that it sounds like it would read a little better if I let myself get more into the scenery details.
I do plan to get a little deeper into the characters of the rest of the gang, since they are ultimately an important part of Kurokami's life and as Anon and her grow closer, he will come to know them more as well.
This is pretty useful feedback! I can definitely use this to help make the later chapters of everything I write a bit better. The next segment might benefit from an outline that I might try to do tonight.

A) the concepts rapidly run out and invite a lot of bullshit (which is why Fate is shit since you can load up your favorite character with all of the bulllshit they did/reshape their myth to make them ultra broken)
B)it restricts the power system, so for example fubuki could very easily work with something tied to japanese folklore or she could work in terms of tributes/offerings, and million other stuff.
Basically, the more broader the scope, the more fun you can have with the setting, that way you avoid the basic but strong shit. Dunno if you ever watched Bungou Stray Dogs (Kinda fujoshit at times) but there, the powers are great but the author made the mistake of making a character whose power is ''powers dont work'' so all of the arcs start by taking that character out of the equation

Fucking hell, this is great. I love this series so much. The immorality and sense of impending doom, that everything could be fucked sideways at any moment and that what they're doing is simultaneously healing and damaging each other irreparably - it makes the smut so intensely hot. I think it's used to great effect here. There's a sense of self-awareness in how fucked-up what they're actually doing is and it makes any and all action 10x better. As Auntie-anon wrote, taboo is one hell of an aphrodisiac.
I don't necessarily want to see a sad ending for the two either, but it would be the most fitting by far. The situation they're in - aunt and nephew - it can't possibly end well in any shape or form. At least, not immediately. If they both suddenly decided to play the long game and kept up a facade until Anon came of age, then elope with each other, that would technically work - but it's not interesting and rather anticlimactic.

I really loved those two chapters, anon. The idea of a school overrun with girl-bullies is hilarious and Kurokami deserves all the attention she can get.
I do second the other anons pointing out that there just seems… a tiny bit missing when it comes to descriptions etc. It’s not much, but it makes the fic feel just that much faster than it probably should.
A small gripe I also have is that the characters are a bit too one dimensional for my liking. Like Kuro is supposed to be the main girl, but she’s done nothing that would make her likable so far except resolve the Suisei-situation, and that was unintentional. Anon is also too much of a yes-man imo, I’d love to see more development on him.
Also, considering you’re HJ-anon, a little advice considering the release of your chapters: slow down. Anons may call you a writing beast for releasing 2-5 chapters at once, but I would bet money that it actually keeps a good chunk of people from dipping into your work at all - which would be a shame, considering it’s a really fun read so far. I’d release the story chapter by chapter - that probably works better for all those zoomers with short attention spans ITT and give you more traction.

There's like two routes for this I can see to potentially writing it.
The first would be having it entirely in kanata pov, but that doesn't really get the dynamic of the original fic across since the short length was why readers weren't questioning the twist.
The second would be intercutting it with buildup about your ambiguous relationship with kanata and a dream/fantasy about sex with her, though that also has issues since it seems like it would be kind of awkward to cut in between without giving the twist away when you're finally at the sex scene.
