Matrixfag here. Sorry that we've been in the dark with you guys for a while. I finally fixed the blank input bug in the Colab notebook, meaning that inputting something blank should now be treated as the user being silent ("..."). If this fucks up the notebook, please do let me know. In addition, I've seen the script for converting dumped CAI data to Pygmalion defs/conversations and added a small bit of code that replaces any "[NAME_IN_MESSAGE_REDACTED]" with the user name you put in on the Pygmalion colab notebook. Apologies for taking this long to fix a simple bug, I personally am no good at programming prease andastando.

While Pygmalion being shilled on the official CAI discord was really funny, it's also led to a new mass influx of people that left us reeling. That's partially why we've stopped communicating for a bit as we're trying to accomodate growing pains. And I'll be honest, though we'll of course try to adapt, we may have many more of these pains in the future. I'll try my best to keep up a flow of updates as they come out to you guys. We've been working hard in the background on a bunch of things, including an official UI. However, with our huge growth, we find ourselves struggling to keep up with stuff like UI development, backends for the UI, notebook maintaining, and much more. To this end, we're once again calling on volunteers to help us out with that. Right now we're setting up a system of TODOs and issues in all our repos (found at https://github.com/PygmalionAI)), and we invite anyone with experience in the relevant fields to contribute if they so wish. Your support would be really appreciated.

Mixed bag on this one. For people who are willing to learn new things, having a cumbersome and unwieldy UI isn't great. Furthermore, erotic chatbots are about as niché as one can get. I'm certain we're not pulling in the normie crowd (yet).

Luckily, the current colab UI isn't actually terrible, it just needs tooltips so people know how to format certain things but other than that it's pretty straightforward. Tavern and kobold offer some decent UI options as well for those willing to learn how to use them.
