I have my doubts about this project in general. A lot of the talent's charms also come from what the audience gives back to them (memes, etc). Yagoo is most definitely molding this world around the character's vanilla lore which could be very boring. Suisei isn't even originally a holo character.

The real finger pointing should be thrown at the anime studios, not Netflix. All Netflix does is drop a wheelbarrow full of money off and tells them to make an anime, its up to the studio to make the show. It was apparently a song she had written for her own Gen, however, Cover really liked the lyrics and tune and though it would fit this project perfectly, and thus took it.
At least they allowed Calli sing it since its her song and the other branches won't be included, some sort of consolation gesture.
