I think the keys to success for an agency are strong personalities, strong designs/models and baseline competent management, and that Tsunderia has done a pretty good job of the first two at least. Good scouting can take you really far as long as you aren't legitimately retarded.

They are relatively. They have almost 90k subs total. Biggest issue is their management; Ria and Kana leaving really set them back and they would be a lot better off if they'd stayed. Now they're seeing some improvement with Miori having joined, collabs with Prism and gen 2 coming out, but even then Yuuna is the only one actually reaching out for sponsorships and shit. Kana's old shit mods barring s train are still there, the ceo is hands off leaving slugma to do everything and the multiple talents are also managers. They do have the talent and models, but also a lot of room for improvement. There's other stuff that annoyed me too but that's the jist. Good scouting, talent and models but not enough backend. Maybe they should invest more into that rather than new talents.

It's probably fine as long as they keep one as the main platform for most of their talents with the other being used less frequently (some like Yuuna would be an exception since her indie career was on Twitch). I think YouTube is a safer option than Twitch for building an agency since VShojo is really the only one to have done that and they were mostly already established talents (I guess some irl streaming companies are Twitch based so it could be possible but is still a lot riskier). YouTube reaches a wider audience too, so if you're a western or JP company that wants to reach a JOP or EOP audience it's better than sites like Twitch or Niconico which filter them.

It's really tough to get a feel for who the streamer is and what sort of content they create from just one or two streams, too. More often than not, people aren't willing to put in the time to really get to know a streamer, let alone a full company's style, because there's just so much content out there that if it doesn't instantly click, you could lose that potential viewer

The only company I've watched a ton of is Tsunderia, but I'm trying to give Prism and Kawaii a fair shot. But even within just those three companies, that's 17 streamers. It's tough to find the time to give everyone a fair chance
