Yeah, it can now pre-load an anon's directory of Lora's from Google Drive with a symlink, so no need to wait on them to copy, and they're juuuuuuuust small enough that they won't get any huge I/O errors when they try to use them - loading entire models via a GDrive symlink is yab city tho, much experience with that. way better off copying those to colab
It's not a default thing though, it's tucked away with the option to download more than one model or VAE.

Ok, I'll spill the beans. I'll probably sound like a grumpy old geezer, but eh.

We have a decent amount of prompters who just aren't very good at saying no.That was me back when I spammed the thread with robots nonstop because it's fun to help people see their fantasies realized and make them happy. The thing is, not every request should be fuffilled. Like when we had the necrophilliac who kept requesting "sleeping" chubas, but left after he just kept getting ignored. If you do anything for everyone people will think we have no boundries and just get even more in our face about asking for stuff.

So we had an influx of people from the various places you mentioned who don't really know how to behave themselves and a bunch of prompters who will do anything you ask of them. This lead to people asking for more and more extreme stuff until this thread was pretty much a porn factory. We were too nice and that led to some requestors being very greedy and distasteful.

Fortunately, this problem self corrects because eventually the most degenerate coomers ask for things that are too far/impossible for even our most dedicated prompters to do. After that point they either leave or stop asking for crazy shit. If last thread is any indication of the current climate, then it seems like the people left are actually quite pleasant so things worked out in the end. But last week got really rough at times and I hope we don't see a repeat of that in the future.

I'm not trying to gatekeep or say "don't do requests" or "don't make your requests"! The interaction between requestors and prompters is what makes the thread a lot of fun! I'm just saying request things within reason and take requests that are reasonable.

Now I'm gonna go pick up my food, please don't hate me too much until I get back.

I would agree with you in a vacuum, but we're also in an age where requestors will straight up ask anons directly to prompt something rather than leaving making their request and waiting for someone who wants to do it to do it. I don't mind these requests too much if they're just asking for a simple character swap or whatever, but it becomes a bit much when they're asking for a completely different prompt addressed to one person in particular. It just puts the prompter in a very awkward position so I think it's good to remind people that "no" is a complete sentence.

I admit, I as part of those requesters when I first fell into this thread last week or so. I only ever asked for IRyS porn. But I know that coomer requests are just bottom of the barrel stuff and instead of pestering the prompters here, I just took up to learning how to make my own. So, I get the feeling that some of those coomers who 'left' are in a similar situation as me.
