Even more so then. Any Holo that took good care of their fanbase has solid base of 3k, 4k recurring paying customers which will stick with them for as long as the content they provide continues satisfying them.
That, incidentally, is what makes the proposed attempt to branch out to a different audience so silly.

The Holo model is one of direct marketing: the girls have a product to sell, the audience is the customer base. As long as the girls provide the product with the same quality the audience will continue forking the cash.
The Twitch model is different. The audience is largely a non paying one, the entertainers source of revenue is indirect, through ads and sponsorship.
The revenue doesn’t come from the members of the audience but from the sponsors so it doesn’t matter whether or not the audience is recurring or new faces every stream, all that matters is that they’re in sufficient numbers to make the sponsors happy.
