Gen 1 being entirely Japanese was probably to minimise teething issues, I'd expect mostly foreigners this time so better timezone coverage hopefully, but overlap is inevitable either way, and we're already getting it at times.
I think 4 members is probably a good amount, should let them get a decent group dynamic going whereas gen 2 almost feel like a pairing within gen 1.

Why all of the Prism members are such shit at reaching out for collaborations with chuubas outside of their agency?
Here's a list of all collaborations streams outside Prism as of 06-05:

I thought that we are an agency and we need to constantly grow in subscribers and average concurrent views, but we don't do either of those things. One of the best things to get more people to know about Prism would be collaborations with major VTubers and Prism has a few potential candidates like Moona for Iku or Uto and Nacho for Luto. But they don't even collab often with VTubers around their size, which I find strange.
Do you think they might breakthrough in the future and could eventually get some more outside collaborations going, or will they still collaborate amongst themselves, only losing more and more viewers?

You have to consider why someone would join Prism when they don't really provide you with anything to boost your growth compared to being an indie.
The vtubers joining Prism are the ones who don't have self-confidence to build themselves up as indies OR ones who want a more close-knit community to grow as a group.
If you have that mentality then you'll probably self-isolate because reaching out to others and leeching off of them defeats the purpose of why you joined a tiny agency in the first place.

Luto seems like a huge outlier within Prism though, she's working significantly harder to bridge the gap between Prism and indies and small agencies within the EN scene and also doing much more experimental streams and aggressive content to try to bring in viewers or create viral moments. I genuinely think she's overqualified for Prism and could have been bigger as an indie. Not even shitting on them it's just the truth, she's much more charismatic and outgoing than everyone else. She probably decided to join Prism and sticks with them because she genuinely loves the group.

The original premise of Prism was that it was for fun and no one expected rapid growth. But after it surpassed their wildest expectations, both YU and the agents began to take aim at bigger achievements, such as reaching 100,000 subscribers to debut the 3d models
The 3rd Gen is now being currently recruited with this mindset
At first, they were a group, doing it for fun. Now they are an agency doing it to make some money

Personally I'm not a fan of the culture and platform of Twitch but I agree that for streams like this it'd probably work better, the usual differences between platforms would matter less in gaming streams, and if it's starting to drag then having the extra activity and the engagement from shit like redeems can help out. I think where it gets hard is that ultimately some viewers are going to be more valuable than others, in terms of both donations/advertising and marketing. JP vtuber conventions seem to revolve around cultivating a more dedicated fanbase of quality viewers. From what I've seen this is effective for PriPro on zatsudan streams where there's lots of engagement and they rake in the donations, but it falls flat for gaming streams - Luto usually being an exception.
Given that, I don't think it'd matter much that twitch doesn't really seem to suit them, if anything it'd be an opportunity to improve. It probably just comes down to the fear that not all of the fan-base would carry across and they'd be stretched across both platforms, but I think it seems to be working well enough for Tsunderia where they split across both, though I agree that in the case of Luto she'd probably do well just going all in on twitch.
