i take that back because i never talked to them all personally about the game (all 3 of them) so that may be unfair of me to say, but if there isn't a decent number of people who want to have a go at a minecraft server, don't bother. i know there's a JP indie server of GTA Online that's been going for almost an entire year now, so it's not like it's impossible to keep something like that going for an extended period of time.

but with this group of indies, some of which have only spoken to each other in Discord servers and have not actually collaborated together, it'll be awkward to put them together in a game that is heavily-personality driven like minecraft for longer than a couple weeks, and I know from experience that the banter was mega-awkward but it's still possible to at least make it entertaining somewhat.

if you actually were to make a minecraft server, give it it's own name and identity. give it a plan! I wanna see chuubas do things in minecraft for a goal and at the end of the server they have a proper graduation from the server ceremony with something.

let's say the organizer starts a $10 prize pool everyone donates however much they want. could be $0 could be $100. Whoever has the most advancements with the least deaths at the end gets the prize. the donation must be made during the final stream.

It's acting, but it's also herself. It's an exaggerated persona. Shylily probably won't be the same private but depending on how much effort she's willing to put into her persona, she's still gonna be 50-90% the same. That way it's more maintainable over longer periods. It's not classic acting where you become a completely different character. That's not the intention when it comes to streaming anyways. The appeal of streamers is to appear more like a normal person, just like a friend you are hanging out with. Vtubing sort of takes this concept a little more towards the acting because it's a cute anime girl who is also your friend and who hangs out with you.

Before ever beginning to stream? Nothing. Before your first serious attempt at being an entertainer? Intro/outro/intermission screens, BGM for each, channel branding (everything the platform allows you to have, nothing kills a boner more than the channel name copy-pasted over a purple rectangle), panel images (strongly advice to include an easily recognizable piece of your brand in each). Overlays shouldn't be a must at first, not custom ones at least. What you want is to build your image and sear it into the viewers' retinae.
Also, don't just stop at one panel, get an entire row at least. You want to minimize blank space on the screen.

I'm streaming FEAR 2 tomorrow. I'm in the last third, which meaning I'll be seeing THAT scene. Because of this, I have a question. What's /asp/'s experience with yabai scenes on Twitch? I did have a look at Twitch's guideliness, and I can't help it but feel like THAT scene might be in a gray area. There is some "clever" editing and camera angles involved, but at the end of the day, it's still obvious what's going on. Camera focus being on Alma who's covered with just her hair doesn't help either.
What about Youtube? I upload all VODs there, and I do already mark all FEAR VODs as 18+ because of the sheer amount of blood, but I do know there are some limits even then.
I did prepare a "yabai mode" screen to activate at the very last moment, but at the same time, I also don't want to come off as a hypocrite, considering what I already said about Stay Dead Evolution. I did know what I was getting into.

Tenma decided to play Fear and Hunger with blue dongs and such just hanging out in the open that she covered with scream emojis so I guess you can make content out of it by making a big deal out of covering it.
