AIchamp here, haven't really done much since the last update with the proof of concept and zip of current sprites. I do plan to make more and seeing them in action did highlight some issues I would need to fix with some of the current ones as well.

Also for backgrounds/music/etc we might want to think about where we want to source that stuff. AI backgrounds are probably possible but also just stealing already made ones from other VNs is an option (that's what I did for the PoC) same goes with music whether choosing royalty free tracks or just other ones we like or whatever, not sure how concerned we are with copyright here.

When writing scenarios it could be helpful to consider things like where the BGM will change or where you might want to insert sound effects or whatever, even if we don't necessarily actually have those assets yet. Also maybe some notes about expression changes for the sprites and the like, though maybe some of that can be left up to Renpychamp's discretion if it's too much to deal with right now.

i will think more about BGM more later down the line - generally i think composers/sound designers wait until they have more to work with than we do before they start. but it doesn't hurt to think about it somewhat earlier as well, so thanks for mentioning it. i know of several places we can source royalty-free BGM stuff, especially since we're not making it for commercial purposes.

i had thought that koikatsu was our option for backgrounds, but that may have changed. if we want professional quality we can yoink them from other places/VNs of course but i can also draw/paint them if we prefer everything be made by champs, soulful or not. frankly that's my preference but if others disagree i will yield of course.

I'm still kind of getting the hang of the process, I think it's not necessarily a huge amount of work but there's some element of timing involved since the dough needs to sit for like 8-12 hours to rise, and you also need to get your starter into a nice active state before doing that which can involve some experimenting to find the best timing to do so but I'm still a novice at this stuff and my breads so far have come out ok but clearly could have been better.
