Does the message of purchasing a membership counts as well?

I love Gura!

that never says anything about how they got the numbers.

>> No.4690413

Gura numbers are obviously wrong, according to the numberfags thread she should have like 40k or 50k members.
Maybe EVEN more than that.

You can imagine someone scraps all the chat and simply counts how many unique members appear.

how does numberfags thread come up with such a number? Anyway, most people probably don't use the chat. I for one do not.

Unexpected: Nene is doing so well. Matsuri not being mid table at least.

Some things I want to point out.

1. Holy fuck Gura is strong
2. Elite Sakura Miko intrigues me. She had near 10,000 members according to this. However I am really curious about her twitch subscriptions. With them there is a good chance she is #2 behind only Gura. Double dipping is proving to be very lucrative for Miko and I wonder when other Holos are going to jump on the bandwagon.
3. Seeing Risu on the bottom is sad since she has some of the best membership content

I did something similar that I posted here of the number's thread. You just scrap all messages from the chat. It takes a long time but it's possible.

I have the same numbers as the graph. It's legit

Every holoEN seems to fare better in relation to liveviewer/member than the other vtubers from the main branch. I assume that the west is more familiarized with paid subscription because if twitch culture. Though I'd expect Mori to have bigger numbers according to her average live viewers.

Unsurprising when for much of that time only members could chat

>> No.4691321

Westerners also like and comment under videos signficantly more than Japs, I haven't seen stats to say if that extends to the live chat but I'd be almost certain it does

While that certainly plays into it, Coco was at one point the holo with the most members before she got surpassed by Pekora and Watame, then Gura, ’m talking about 1 or 2 months before the chink arc started.

Gotta wonder if the crazy numbers ever put pressure on Gura. Think about how much money that is, that is almost $30k after Cover and Google take their cut, and even after taxes she's probably sitting at like 20k a month just from memberships. Making that much money with just streaming I'm sure puts pressure on them to produce other things.

He's trolling, or he is too stupid to tell the difference between shitposting and facts. Estimates for Gura's membership goes from 12k on the low end to 25-30k on the high end

>> No.4691864

>20k a month
That's only $140k.
Sure it's a lot but it's not enough to retire or anything especially after taxes.

This is why I always tell newer/non numberfags that superchats don’t matter much in the grand scheme of things. The cut from superchats is much too high, however once you calculate in memberships and vod views the previous Gura lack of money gain flexing goes out the window and she shoots to one of the top earners in the company.

>> No.4692110

>>4691864
20k a month before superchat money. If she's smart she would live perfectly fine off just memberships and save/invest everything she gets from superchats.

>> No.4692412

>>4690413
She should have "at least 20k" because of the number of votes on her members only polls. This isn't at all in contradiction with 17.5k members actively chatting.

Basically: "She had 12k votes on a poll and according to my made-up headcanon only 25% of members vote, so her real membership numbers clearly must be 40-50k"

I wish I was making this up

i feel like members are more inclined to engage with someone theyre supporting than say the average viewer, if anything id gauge it at maybe 50%-60% so i can easily see gura with 20-25k members based off this chart of only members who have sent chats

>> No.4697481

I'm a chumbuddy and have a full membershrimp to Gura and have superchatted. I also superchatted once or twice for Ame and Kiara and Haachama.

I rarely participate in Gura's chat because of a prosaic problem of having an obsolete laptop. Since I'm a eurofag from my perspective Gura streams LATE into the night, and that means I'm at work (nightshift). My laptop is too weak hardware wise to run youtube efficiently and the chat just takes up too many resources in terms of RAM and processing power. The statistics are probably false since I doubt I'm the only one with this kind of issue.

Without Gura, Europe gets engulfed in a radioactive cloud.
