I have a pretty sketchy past that I won't go into but if said details were to be leaked, I'd be canceled without chance for a rebound.

I don't know what games I want to stream. So far I've only been streaming a single game and it's getting a little too repetitive. Bought a PS5 recently and only played two games on it. Not hyped for any upcoming game besides Tekken 8. I think I was already burned out on video games before I even started streaming.

I think it really depends on the situation. Looking back on it now I probably went a little bit overboard with how silly the voice was and because the majority on my audience was from a raid they might have been less forgiving of that kind of thing. A bit more muted and serious of a voice likely would not have caused nearly as many people to leave as did. However maybe It would have been better just to read it in a normal voice, it's hard to say. It probably also depends on the game and character, probably the better you fit a voice to a character the more your audience will enjoy that kind of improv voice acting. I've certainly have had streams where it appeared that my audience enjoyed it a lot.

Depending on your tone, people might think that you're mocking the game's writing/characters. While this might be fine for some viewers, other's might not want to stick around and hear some guy playing a game he obviously hates and shitting on it the entire time. This is specially true of it the game/franchise in question is relatively well received by fans. Making goofy voices while you're playing FF7 for example is probably going to turn a few people off. Just remember all your viewers have their own thoughts and opinions, and anything you say or do on stream they can perceive it any number of ways they want to perceive it. Generally speaking people aren't out hunting for debuts from indies because there are thousands and thousands of indies and unless you're going balls out advertising, you're probably not going to get seen by many. You define your target audience. It's usually age range, country, and then people with matching interests. The last part is the important part, you're basically looking for keywords that vtube fans would search for. Hololive, Nijisanji, popular vtubers like Rin Penrose, Pikamee, etc. If you're an English speaker, you'd probably want to focus on using English speaking vtubers as the keyword. If you're a male, use Vox Akuma, Mysta, etc as your keywords. You can make it broader and try to make your ads reach male fans who watch female vtubers, but as a male, do you really think they'd be interested in your content? So yeah, trimming your ad's target audience is kind of an artform that you'll have to play around with on your own.

Everybody laughed at me when I told them I wanted to be a vtuber who does stand up comedy. Now no one is laughing anymore.

Just the face, because part of the issue is that the hair seems too big for the head.
I know the hair is supposed to be big and voluminous but I think it's a bit too much. The distance between the scalp and the top of the hair makes it seem a bit like a wig.

I understand that. I would say $1000 is an extremely good price point (in my opinion) for both the art and rigging. Also, I'm curious: does that include the commercial rights? I see some artists on twitter charge anywhere from 100-200% upcharge for the rights to use in streaming. And for what it's worth, I don't think it's overvalueing yourself, you need to start somewhere, and your art is cute to boot! If I ever figure out a design I want to settle with I think I'll hit you up in the future for my first model if that's okay!

Definitely depends on what it is and the quality (like how low are we talking?). I'd say probably around $25-50 USD if I was going to use it or put it on my stream as an asset or something. Might be better off doing emotes though - even low quality ones I see go for around anywhere between $10-30 per emote (usually bundled for multiple emotes).
