I think I finally broke the curse. I only religiously follow one vtuber and she didn't stream for a week. It's like I felt I could do anything without being tied down for 1-4 hours a day. Vtubers don't matter anymore. I always knew they were inferior entertainment but mainly /vt/ is what kept me watching them... but with the only vtuber I cared about not streaming there was nothing to discuss here. Video games and anime are truly superior. Maybe if I'm feeling really crazy I might even attempt to do something productive with my time tomorrow. Now that I'm free anything could happen!

There are no vtubers I watch actively despite being in this shithole for years. I often look for new vtubers, then I drop them after watching for 5 minutes or so.

I have no oshi, nor do I watch streams, but I like Shark, Clock, Chicken, and Pirate because of the potential of their 'characters' and the inspiration they give me for drawing

I also hate VTuber designs on principal because they're typically overdesigned bullshit that don't take things like fan art into consideration
In the case of Hololive, they're designed like playset dolls rather than tailored to the personality behind them
