I don't know how things work in Japan, but I am certain that you can break NDAs and not be legally liable if you can prove that the company was acting in bad faith. Not only is it a PR disaster that can kill the company while being drawn in court, depending on the context, the person making the claim could have the public support overwhelmingly. This is one such case where she could sink all of Cover/Hololive if she so felt like getting back at them for acting in bad faith.

I think it is safe to say that all of them are being sincere at this point. Pekora, Botan, Mio, Towa and Korone at this point are all very sensitive right now.
