An old LoRa from January, I think it was from the Catto list.
With this one I also leave the artist name in the prompt, since the AI does know it to an extent.
This prompt is quite unstable though, it produced the CHAOS rat from the very end of the previous thread.

The only way I have found to combat this is to just use a shitton of loras with similar concepts to what I'm trying to make and a shitton of negative prompts that target mutations.
Example:

Yeesh, totally understand that. I went to check my local vendor since it's been a while since the last time, and seems the prices have finally come down. 12GB 3060 is 375€, quite good in my opinion. 3070 is about 540€, but then again it seems there's only the 8GB VRAM version of it available, which at least for proompting might not be as ideal.

I prompt with 8gb vram and it works but the limitations are obvious and I hit them often. Especially when using hires fix, I cannot upscale too far if I use more than one lora at once, especially if I use one of the more vram heavy upscale options. If you're actually buying a new card I would recommend going higher for sure

I'm currently on GTX 1060 6GB, so probably not enough for local prompting. I feel like if I'm buying a new card, might as well go for higher. 3060 is probably more than enough for all my gaming needs, considering my current GPU hasn't had any problems yet, so the higher VRAM is probably more valuable. Otherwise I could try without one, I did a couple very quick test outputs and HLL4V3 does seem to know her a little bit. Maybe? Got the hair colour with just her name fairly reliably.

The way I do it, if it's something small and simple I draw over it with the correct flat colour, then either img2img the whole image or inpaint the specific area.
If it's something a bit more complex (like the sky that has clouds) I use the clone stamp function to grab stuff from somewhere else in the image, then inpaint it.
For Img2img settings I put denoise anywhere from 0.25 to 0.5 depending on how much I want the AI to do.
For Inpainting I set a square size (768 for small areas, 1024 for big ones), maximum padding and denoise same as above.
For the wings 0.4 or 0.45 would be good to rebuild the sky, 0.35 might be enough too if the cloned area is good enough to begin with.

I just leave it on and haven't had issues with it.
I sometimes change the mimic CFG scale, same as you would with normal CFG. Other settings I leave there unless the image goes strange (you'll know it if it happens, all goes brown and fucky), then I bring down the latents to clamp from 100 to 99.6 or 99.4 and that usually fixes it.

The way inpainting works is that you mask an area, then the AI will draw a square that contains all the area you masked (plus padding) and redraw that. Then it will replace the parts you masked with the redrawn version.
So there's no point as far as I know in doing an inpaint at 1024x1536, since the area that matters is square anyway in the end. You can knock down the resolution to 1024x1024 or 768x768 for faster inpainting or more batches.
If I'm inpainting some small detail (ex. a hand) it doesn't need a lot of pixels, so 768x768 is enough and fast. If you're inpainting a large area (the entire torso, for example) then you want to give the AI more pixels to work with.
But you can play with the settings and see what works for you, this is just how I've come to do things over the past 6 months or so.

Kinda hard to explain since I don't fully understand the techincal stuff behind it, but essentially it "divides" the prompts between it in a way. Not like a BREAK or AND would, but more than a comma.
I have found that if I put things relating to the same "area" in boxes separated by a +, the machine obeys the prompt more, produces less limbgore and "not what I asked for" images. But a lot of it is also that it helps keep the prompt organized and helps make the workspace a lot tidier and easy to read.
So basically, I found out one day that it "makes the prompts do the output better" and have used it ever since.
