I think a lot of people tend to have "playing together as friends" mixed up with "collabing on stream". You can do the first one and connect with people without doing the second immediately. 3rd gen /asp/ies are now the butt of the joke by being eternally NGMI's which is true in some ways i suppose. A lot of them graduated (including me). In terms of 4th gen, I think they are about the same in terms of quality, in terms of entertainment either denpa or beryl work for me.

Azu still exists, but I feel like he mostly keeps to himself these days. Good for him desu. Still using female models although the VRchat one is a little different.

I'm actually giving up on streaming this summer. Twitch is a leech, you can't get viewers from there, you need to bring them over from somewhere else, and if I have to edit videos for Youtube to have an audience I'd rather just make videos.

Now this is just confusing, I'm gen 3 and most of those guys actually did graduate/disappear from aspcord. There's a tiny minority that're still around and none of them are actually talked about much anymore. The ones that're still around are quietly doing very well for themselves.

For the gen 4 stuff... Well I don't know since I'm not a part of their social group. Disingenuous is not the word I'd use. I doubt most of them are eternally NGMI either. But it does feel like they're kinda in their own social group. There's also a few gen 3s that are now basically part of the gen 4 group as they've started to stream more often now and interact with those people.

As a gen 3, I don't exactly remember stuff like that, but I did get that feeling from some people, just very bad vibes. Overall though, the gen 3s that're still around are very cool people. I was very small back in the gen 3 era too, so maybe there's some credibility to the "not chatted to unless you have numbers" thing, cause I don't keep up with most gen 3s anymore.

As a gen3, i was never behind any scenes, I wasn't in a discord, the only thing I did was reach out to other chuubas AND viewers to become friends and some of them ended up in a collab with me. But then again I have way too much time on my hands, I'll give anyone the time of day, if they are pleasant enough. There's a reason why I only add individual people on discord, because i personally think it's more genuine to just be friends with each other and focus on the individual chemistry rather than breeding animosity between a "group" of /asp/ies.

I've said it a lot in the past and I will say it again. Streamers are individualists and they all want to be in the limelight, it's obvious there's gonna be friction. Stuff like this is eliminated if you just hang out together and have a fun time.

Whenever someone from gen 3 gives out their opinion, remember that they have a lot of biases and they're not going to call themselves and their clique a bunch of cunts.
