The issue is that Mori had her own idea of how to get Yuul involved in the plot, but she didn't really bother incorporating Yuul's wants or needs as a character. This gives the whole thing a very railroaded feeling, instead of feeling organic to Yuul's character. Granted, Ina's way of playing her isn't helping, but really Mori should have found a way of tying in Yuul's backstory and personal motivations.
