Everywhere I go on here people are stubbornly convinced that Gura's is better (Probably because she can sing songs in a deceivingly good accent), but I will fight to the death that her Japanese isn't better and this proves it for me. However, I think Gura has a better grasp of the pronunciation as she doesn't stutter that much compared to Ame. She is like a parrot who just mimicks the words she hears, similarly to Suisei's english. All that singing allowed her to get a drop on Ame in that regard. Mimicking is essential to assimilate the pronunciation and accent.

Only found out about Ame less than 3 weeks ago and never would've thought finding her would change my outlook in life. I could go on with typing giant walls of texts on shit that changed but in short I don't feel like a dud and my goals don't seem impossible anymore. Is this normal? Isn't it bad if I'm gaining motivation and self esteem from someone else and not my self? I don't even know what it is but it a good, unknown kind of feel. It's kinda scaring me.

There's nothing wrong with getting inspiration from somebody else in my opinion. Ame used to be a poor recluse who until a few months ago couldn't afford a washing machine and more than 2 dinner plates, and now she's very successful. It doesn't even have to be about money either - Her obscure hobbies such as making terrariums and talking about fish have inspired others to try out different things too. Motivation can't always come from within at first, so getting it from others who have turned their life around is certainly a good starting point.

I have no doubt that teamates will at least WANT to give her enough money for her to retire. I know I've probably given her close to a hundred bucks at this point adding up my membership and SCs.
But I do think she's loaded at this point and will make so much money that she probably can retire if she wanted to. It's just that she still has a frugal mindset if some stuff she does is any indication, like how she only has like one plate or something.

This. It's very evident even way back that Superchat readings was waning on her when in the full EN draw streams she chastises Gura about not spending 5 hours reading SCs. Now that she has domestic hobbies like her terrarium and fishes/shrimps, she probably doesn't want to spend too much time on SC readings which takes energy and time out of her for longer gaming streams or her other activities.
