I'm gonna roll with this narrative to have some fun.
Remember that time Kanata came back to the holohouse with Watame after their 3D and they stayed over? It happened during the ARK stream with Rushia Subaru Aki Choco and Flare.
Coco freaked out when Watame entered her room (you could hear her quickly picking up all the paper bags and bottles) because it was full of trash, she later said that she doesn't care if Kanata sees her panties drying in the room but she doesn't want Watame to see her room being messy.

Also, the other day when she streamed high on sleeping pills, she mentioned Watame, which is kinda funny because the last time she recorded herself high on pills (this one wasn't live, she was just reacting to her own recording of 7 days to die) even when she could barely speak she still remembered to advertise Watame's 3D, it seems like Watame entering her mind while she's high on pills isn't a rare occurrence, the 2 times she has shown herself like that she mentioned Watame.

There's also that time in meme review when she said she wanted to see Watame's asshole so yeah.

In reality i unironically think Coco and PPT are in some kind of weird relationship where they do have sex with each other but don't consider themselves girlfriends, it's something deeper than that, kinda like partners for life.

I don't think I can deal with this one, lads. I don't want to make yet another thread crying about her graduation, so I'll just vent here with like-minded tatsunoko.

Kaichou may have not been the first vtuber I semi-followed, but she was definitively the reason I started following Hololive and got hard into watching vtubers.
She's literally my oshi, my number one. The best.
I really enjoyed her energy, how dependable she seemed and eager to help all the others despite being a newcomer. I loved her untapped humor during the Asacocos, and the 3D debut (I still have it saved on my drive) solidified her as my favorite. She's such a fucking underrated genki dork in the way she can't stop moving around.
Would never have guessed months ago when I was watching all her singing streams that this day would come. Management fucked up so badly, neglecting her and keeping her down indefinitely, to the point they ended up driving away one of their biggest earners.

And now I'm left here not knowing if I should feel sad or angry that the persona we know as Coco will effectively "die" in 2 weeks.
It's such an empty feeling...
I know her archives will remain at least, but I don't think I can ever bring myself to watch them after she's gone; it's already too painful now, knowing, as Kaichou herself said, all the dreams and plans left unmet.
I don't know if I'll even keep following Hololive in general, it just doesn't feel the same the person who literally got me into it.

I really wish Kaichou wouldn't go, but at least she's doing everything she can to make it one of the best graduations possible. She's giving people ample time after the announcement, pulling out all the stops in collabs, going full circle to do what made her unique, and is making sure everyone all stays positive. She even said that she had to negotiate to make sure none of her accounts and content gets deleted/privated. I've been watching her roommate almost as long as I've been watching Coco, and honestly I like it better a lot of the time.

Found Asacoco in my recommendations after watching suisei's parents story. And fell into the hole via Asacoco.
Coco was the one that introduced me to the rest of hololive. And I mostly only follow the ones that interact with her.
I'll watch for a few weeks to see if they mention her again. After that I'm kinda done.

In my grief I was angry at the zhangs, and by proxy Cover. Then I understood it was coordinated corporate warfare to promote chinese vtubers over japanese ones, and just felt sorry for the girls. Cover of course is still incompetent but I understand their stance, they had just started getting big collabs, Xbox, Red Bull, multiple Japanese brands, they are trying to clean up for investors.

It is a shame Coco will leave without completing all the ideas she had for her persona, but at the same time I feel her leaving is almost necessary to reach new creative heights. Despite her great work for the company, the company is going in a different more sterile direction it is almost fitting the rock star bows out when she does. As well I think Coco herself will creatively benefit from such a drastic sea change.

All in all don't be sad. It isn't as terrible as you think, it certainly wasn't sunshine and rainbows but when Cover had the growth they did, you had to expect corporatization to kick in.

I'm a weirdo who doesn't like game streams. I mostly watch zatsudans, gimmick or "creative" content, and sometimes collabs (if it's a game collab, then only where where I think it's likely to be 80% banter, 20% game). So I mostly watched Coco for her non-game content, and when there wasn't a lot of that, I watch watch Marine, Lamy or sometimes Sora, as when she did the よるのそらBAR streams (been a while?). Also Pochi or Aruran's cultural exchange streams (language learning, explaining Japanese memes, learning English memes, etc.).

My time spent on vtubers was already higher than I was happy with. Coco being gone will be an opportunity to cut back in general, and if I really feel the need, I will check for an archive of Marine or Lamy.

My favorite streams to watch used to be AsaCoco and AsaMiko plus whatever crazy idea Haachama came up with back in the day that involved fan-made content back when Cover allowed it’s talents to have pre-production into their streams, whenthat was gone i stuck to Marine/Coco/Subaru zatsudans, now that Coco will be gone at least 50% of the content i watch will be cut short, she was probably the biggest reason why i started watching other holos, kinda like the glue that holds everything together.

I had been watching vtubers on and off for a long time but Asacoco and ARK and the rest of the early gen 4 excitement managed to make me a Holo hako-oshi for a while. Even then she was always the main priority, so after September the more restricted and isolated she got the less I felt like checking out what everyone else was up to. I love her as a VTuber, I also like her as Kson, but I think she really shines as a VTuber. The way she expresses herself with her Avatar is great. She created a bit of a parallel world for the fans with the whole Yakuza thing, more than she did as her roommate, because the whole VTuber thing detaches it even more from reality. For that reason alone I'd like her to establish a new character. She has the ability to create something really fun, if she has the drive to do it.
