>Official end of the Mouseathon (encore next week, see notes)


Notes:
- For Connor's charity event, Mouse will pause the timer and raid his channel. Once the event ends, Connor will probably raid Mouse and the timer will be unpaused and the subathon resumed.
- On Friday the 30th at midnight, the timer will stop rising and will probably be paused. Mouse will have to stop the subathon for 2 or 3 days because of Anime Expo (she might stream a panel). After that, she plans on honoring the reminding time on the timer, even if it's several days.

It is the last days bro. Thread won't last much longer but I figured we have to at least get it across the line and celebrate the official day of Subathon. Thanks for helping keep the thread alive even when it was slow I wanted a place dedicated to archiving moments of the subathon that wouldn't be muddled in the main thread. Let's hit that 200k and celebrate before AX.

I tried my best keeping it alive all month but even during a big event like this it was often just me samefagging a bunch to keep it from archiving and I don't have the time next month to keep doing it. Straightforward or chill games are a vibe, especially when she likes the gameplay a lot. Though, there’s some games where I wish she’d suck up her pride and play the tutorial or read a guide. Also, she’s got better PC, fiber internet, and 4K monitor, it’s makes a difference.

I'm a keyboard warrior but when I got MGR:R I could tell the game was meant to be played with a controller and joystick. Playing with a mouse and keyboard just felt weird so yeah accessibility is nice and all but some games are just meant to be played a certain way.

Mouse needs to play more games like Detroit: Becomes Human or MGR;R. Heavily story based games with linear plot and gameplay progression. I've noticed if the game becomes too open she has trouble making progress. Sandboxes just lose her she needs a roller coaster.

Is that meant to disprove his point? Her playing GTA was fun but she failed the missions every 10 seconds, would run around aimlessly all the time and overall wasn't very good at the game. Same with Red Dead 2, constantly failed the missions and ran around aimlessly in the short time she played it

Mouse started the subathon in February so all the subs donated in February expired after 28 days. So day 29/30 had a ton of subs that began dropping off so people lost motivation to keep it going as they were losing subs faster than replacement.
