so when a new gen debuts, and has a really strong change to be a gen of 5 views, and to perhaps reverse the recline, it's very selfish to try and stream over these new streamers who are trying to build audiences.

if what you say is true, it ought to be a management-mandated decision to get all the talents to stop streaming (or stop overlapping) for a week or two when the new gen debuts. it shouldn't be up to one or two of them to take it upon themselves to not stream. that's just an unfair expectation, since it's a collective action problem (other senpais will also be streaming, leading to their not-streaming having minimal effects: see tragedy of the commons).

Gura's just an easy target to take shots at since she had been on a semi-hiatus for a couple months and is also the biggest of the EN talents. if you want to be logically consistent you should be upset with management, not her. if management didn't enforce this rule, they either:
