If they'd done that with council and EN3 it could have worked, but now they need to play catchup if they care about ever expanding beyond NA. The vtuber boom is over, they have competition now, and they've burned euro fans repeatedly. If they wait another year for EN4 and then throw out a single euro member I wouldn't expect it to end well.

There's much more to Hololive than MC of course, but the fact JP and ID can host events and EN can't despite its size/subs kinda makes it look lazy and shitty. That's also not to say some of them aren't trying like Fauna, but the others play it more as just a once in a while obligation. Also at this second we have no idea if any Advents will take to MC so maybe some will, but none of them seemed particularly interested in it so I dunno. Then again that is hard to tell, Kaela was thought to be a League player when she debuted and now pretty much lives in minecraft. EN doesn't have one of those.

I’m an EU girl currently building up my resume for EN4. I’ve started studying Japanese and plan to have a good grasp of the language within 6 months.
