Belting means going full power, singing loudly.
Falsetto is using a "fake voice" to hit high notes that you can't hit in your natural range.

These aren't complete definitions but if you don't know them to begin with, I can't really dumb it down any more.

There were two problems. One was she was ahead of the BGM. The other was the BGM would inexplicably drop when she started singing, I don't know her settings, maybe she has some kind of gate on or noise canceling or something. I think a lot of the confusion with chat was she would change settings too fast, not accounting for the delay to chat. So she'd crank the volume up, ask chat how it was, then crank it down, ask again, and meanwhile she's still getting chat messages from when it was too loud so she thinks it's in relation to the most recent change she just made when they're still talking about the first one.

When you speak or sing, notice there's a flex point at the back of your throat. That flex point sets your registers (the range of your do-re-mis).
The lower the flex point, the closer to your chest, the lower your voice. The higher, the closer to your head, the higher your voice.

Belting is at the bottom, but you aim "high" (by recruiting your muscles to squeeze the passage ways), allowing you to sing strong high notes. All the power of the chest, notes of the high.

Falsetto is at the top, and you stay there, allowing you to sing high notes not normal for your voice - but it sounds a bit weird. (Think Micky mouse voice)

I've always thought on how Cover seems to hire talents that will grow together with Hololive, they go for their potential, not skill. It's what the whole idol experience is all about, supporting them as they grow and achieve new heights.
