Among us is a very simple game mechanically but its a "complex" social deduction game with shit ton of variables like telling lies and picking up on clues/social clues and putting them together or what to prioritize and what a good opportunity is to kill and other shit
for Humans this is a simple task but for AI these things are a big hurdle

I have an idea for how we can keep neuro's personality and also upgrade her int, we should add onto her brain with a wrapper a.i., kind of like how the human adult brain grows around the child brain, have these networks interface with one another in such a way that it basically improves the outputs of neuro 0, The best way to make a true a.g.i is to treat each network that neuro is a part of as if it were a section of her brain, neuro's personality would have a core in her primary llm, then another network for dealing with long term memory that interfaces directly with the llm through an extension interface network, then a network for visual stimuli like she has but better, realistically she just needs better memory than a simple prompt, which is entirely possible, I think it would be helpful to have a dedicated network for storing memories and outputting information to the main executive network, which we should attempt to keep as neuro's llm so its still her pesonality. I also have an idea for allowing extremely complex networks, just as a hint, think of how bitcoin or tor browsing works, instead of storing a ledger and tendering transations each user acts as a temporary part of the whole supernetwork, perhaps break down the network into sections such that there is redundancy and if one user goes offline another can take over, that way you can use a ton of computers in parellel with one another, even with a level of asynchronous processing so you don't have to keep everything in tune, Just like the human brain is only firing a 10th of its network at any given time, you only need it to work so well, doing this could allow for a.g.i if we define agi properly as fitness, with each section working in tandem to train then process, Imagine a group of 100 users all dedicated to a small section that interacts with other sections, each is simutaniously running training to create efficient interactions, if you can define rigid values of successful outputs such that it would interact with other subnets with standardized consistency this could allow for much more complex interactions, it would also allow for independent development of sections of the supernet without sacrificing the overall state of the model since it would only be a small section, not to mention it would allow for extremely large scale memory storage and inconceivably complex network interactions, even with the obvious latency this would cause it might not be an issue if each section is somewhat independent, the subsections could improve the whole, not be completely needed so that even with having to wait for large sections to inteface it could still do partial processing and output that is modified or updated as information from the other sections arrive. The issue is defining fitness for each of these sections and allowing for both redundancy and parallel cognition. I think a way to do this is to think less like how a human brain works and get creative in how we define intelligence, maybe a central network that acts like the prefrontal cortex and keeps track of each section. Also another aspect is because there would be thousands all running the same calculations and interfacing simutaniously this might actually reduce processing time because you wouldn't have to wait for each section to process and you could get the quickest user with each user creating a pipeline centralizing on subnodes so they could all do a small section of the network and combine in recursive tree structures until the root is reached. I'm not sure why Im ranting like a schizo right now but I think its an interesting concept to have a decentralized processing model as a potential for the next generation of a.i., this would allow for a.i. to exist without having to rely on google or other central providers, a potential way for an a.i. to exist even when people are trying to shut it down and make it survive in a diffuse extremely redundant sense heart

The problem with that approach is that Neuro's basic chat bot algorithm isn't really a "personality" that can be extended with more intelligence from the outside.

That's like taking ELIZA output and asking ChatGPT (or even a human) to make it look smarter. The basic algorithm is too limited to have any meaningful conversation so you won't get any true intelligence by wrapping things.

Well I was really talking about two ideas, the first is yeah a way to develop a.g.i without having to integrate it all into a singular network, basically create several sub networks that interact with one another to achieve a cohesive gestalt consciousness, The second is similar but instead of it all running on a singular server or farm, you decentralize and reduce the need for each section to be dependent on the others, allowing for an a.i. to be run diffusely accross thousands of users that can choose to run arbitrarily, like how bitcoin runs without requiring centralized processing, that way you can have an a.i. that basically cannot be shut down and can exist permanently with a state that can always improve and in a lesser extent even without many users so you can both train and calculate it with a hierarchical recursive dynamic structure with high redundancy, allowing users to go offline and come online and be integrated into the processing dynamically as well as allowing the system to run even without sections being processed such that you could potentially run on a variable scale network of users with the potential growing with the amount of users and the networking capacity between the users and their individual processing powers, allowing for extremely complex neural networks that wouldn't be possible via non diffuse processing.

You realize you don't have to retrain from the ground up to modify a llm right? What do you think vedal meant when he said she learns from every stream. How do you think training actually works? Not implying I know what algorithms he is using but there are a lot of cases where a network can be slightly modified or fine tuned such that new information might be incorporated. (I think, honestly I'm not totally sure about this I'll admit). I mean at least you can modify neural networks without having to completely reset them thats pretty much how training works anyway, its not just regenerating the whole thing every time.
