What is the point of pitting the talents that belongs in the same agency with one another? Did you even watch the live? They were all trying their best to engage with one another. Gura herself was floored the moment Pekora entered the server. She obviously regards her highly. As far as I can see, this whole event was a win. Lots of content no matter who you watch. I think this is actually a smart move because the festival was absolutely different if you watch it on specific POVs. I love Subaru's circle, Pekora's and Micomet the most. I did however prefer that they grouped out more into 5 units because it did became boring at some POVs that only had 2. Thankfully they joined the groups later on. I think this events only proves to me that HoloEN should have never had their own server. The numbers proves that these girls are best enjoyed when interacting with one another and creating memories together. People love Hololive because of the bonds that is built between the girls. Throughout this process, Gura had higher total views than Pekora. In other words these aren't views gained by people finding the VOD, they were recorded during the stream.
It proves that the live view count is inaccurate because Pekora had an average of about 20k more live viewers than Gura and Pekora also streamed 30 mins more.

Usually vtuber songs hit the charts for one day and then drop off. Kiseki Knot is no exception. The one exception was Suisei's Ghost (solo artists only, digital download singles only, possibly other disclaimers I'm forgetting), which lasted a whopping two days. Suisei is going at it again, this time with two songs. However, Kenshi Yonezu is too strong and unlike Kiseki Knot, looks like Suisei has to bow down to BTS too.

Fifth and sixth isn't too bad, but if 2,355 downloads is enough to reach the third place, sales don't look all that good, especially since yesterday the same song amounted to 8,845 downloads and Butter was only seventh. Since we can't see the numbers below top three, it may be that BTS got a boost somewhere, but still, it looks like Kiseki Knot is mogging both of Suisei's singles pretty hard. Of course, it remains to be seen whether Suisei can last on the chart this time, but one would think her one million subscribers would flock to buy Comet now that it is finally commercially available in much greater numbers.

We may ponder what caused this. Ghost was somewhat expected and announced at the end of her fourth Youtube live, which drew in viewers compared to the suddenness of Bluerose reveal at the end of a karaoke collab which did draw in numbers, but quite a bit less. Maybe Suisei's JK fanbase prioritizes cute boys like Yonezu and BTS or maybe Comet was never liked all that much and people thought Bluerose boring? Kiseki Knot has twice the views in roughly the same time, although that's to be expected when the entire fourth gen is involved.

English VTubers have more potential than JP VTubers when it comes to growth of live viewers due to the limited pool of Japanese speakers in the world. If Hololive keeps expanding in english speaking countries, the majority of the JP talents will keep falling down in the rankings. Adding newer JP generations will only further split the viewership. If Cover is smart, they'll acquire talents in Europe to cover more timezones and add more new viewers.

And from what I could recall from my half awake state this morning, all 4 of those EN girls (not called gura) got well less then 10k live views.

This points to a shocking amount of overlap amongst the sub base for all 5 holos, and it underlines the wisdom in Ame wanting to build her own fanbase. As a chumbud, I actually worry that Mori, Ina and Kiara will start to distance themselves from Gura as well in order to cultivate thier own fanbases. Don't get me wrong. I am subbed to all 5 girls in EN, yes even kiara. I think they're all entertaining in their own right, and should have their own healthy fanbase... so I was a little concerned when I noticed they barely had anyone watching their streams...

Gura is somewhat decent (likely would be better without management), and did manage to get 43k or so, so it’s not really all overlap in that regard. When you build your entire career around interacting with fans and their entire perception of you becomes something that you don't consider particularly important nor hold it close to your heart, you will end up being bothered by it and pushing against it when they decide to constantly bring it up.
