What the fuck is going on with this thread? Why are people with legitimate criticism and concern over Gura getting hit with “SISTERS ARE FUMING” spam? I have no horse in this race but it’s clear Gura has been having some extreme personal / health issues that are especially prevalent lately. Whatever it may be. It is still very odd she becomes active on average 2 to 3 days out of the month with some projects here and there thrown in. If she was truly unhealthy wouldn’t she be taking a full time break like Ayame or Haachama? The circumstances are a bit out of the ordinary. She’s either getting forced to participate in activities by Cover when she is unwell or she is phoning it in extremely hard but still wants some cash flow so she can’t go completely AWOL anymore.

I think a lot of it is an extension of the constant disappointment and missing how it used to be. I find Gura really fun to watch and like her personality, but she's practically checked out at this point. Nothing consistent, no communication, no apparent desire to get back into the swing. It's like looking at an old friend that has become a shadow of their former selves, which creates a bit of inner conflict. "I like this person and want to support them and see them succeed, but I really don't want to reward someone that hasn't even been delivering the minimum". It's just disappointing scrolling down her streams and seeing how quickly the months jump between them... The desire to see her turn it around and start enjoying streaming and do it consistently again is in stark contrast to the reality, and it's easy for that to turn into anger.

I hope she comes around, but until that happens and long enough to be more than a temporary burst, I will be putting my money into supporting holomems that are delivering on their end of the deal, so to speak.
