I recently read that Starfield ran like shit not because it was demanding, but rather cause shitcode made it constantly memleak, as in, making the data calls with the wrong type, so the PC has to take extra resources to translate the wrong type to the right type, issue is that Starfield does this constantly, and several times per second.
