Be careful about buying a ticket off someone. Its true that you can change the name on the ticket, but as far as I can tell there's no way to make that permanent, and the person you buy it from will still have control. So you could buy a ticket off someone, and they could put your name on it. Then you fly to NYC, stay at your hotel, and wait in line at the event for your ticket, only for them to message you and tell you they changed it again and won't change it back unless you give them another $500.
