She has developed a streaming voice for Towa she feels comfortable with. If you want to hear forced cutesy check out summer 2020. Sure it's more nasal now , but she is straining less to stay in character. It works for her.
Sure most overseas fans prefer her old voice but she never did go very out of her way to actively court her overseas audience even if she is super appreciative that they stuck around (the first months after her yab , every Japanese comment made her feel dread and every English one made her feel relief.) In the end though ,her main market always will be japan and I am happy that Japanese fans have been slowly discovering her for the last year.
