Is it really? I understand LR and to an extent HR not being all that exciting but the game is nothing but bosses. There's plenty of opportunity for butt-clenching moments with more difficult hunts since modern MonHun games are full of 1-2shot possibilities.

Are they though? Both World and Rise have plenty of monsters that can kill in 1-2 hits unless you're building ultra defensively.

They're definitely much, much easier for most of the game though. Older MonHun had fairly threatening hunts all throughout, nowadays LR is baby training mode, HR is mostly the extended trial version of baby training mode and you don't encounter your first real threats until GR or things like Apexes/Deviants.

If you don't play the game none of that matters. Also the a lot of visual queues don't make sense in you don't play yourself. You'd be surprised how much not having a health bar affects the viewing experience. A lot of people won't know if they're going to spend 5 more minutes or 30 more minutes just whaling on the boss.

I think wirebugs are the real problem with MHRise. The game is fun, I enjoyed it, but it's very easy compared to the older versions. It's really hard to have buttclenching situations unless you actively gimp yourself. Rajang felt like a bad joke. And I think he lost moves too, can't confirm.
The positive is that you can feel like a badass raidboss who hunts them for fun, so it's good enough for chuuni roleplay and Biboo can make this work in her favor, specially if she's gonna try parrying and getting instant loss'd over and over again thanks to ping.
