The reason why holostars didn't grow in the west is because they never actually created the holostars branch. By trying to force them to be incorporated with hololive and pushing the "holopro is hololive" narrative they killed any sort of potential brand recognition that holostars had. Now that they have started off on the wrong foot, and have already lost two members after a year of them existing, they need to build the brand from scratch. And that involves solo streams and in branch collabs and unity, not inter branch. Think of it like NCIS and JAG, with that there was an introduction to NCIS in JAG and then they went and did their own thing without interacting with JAG, almost at all. That's what should be done. Instead what they did was the equivalent of The Clevland Show and Family Guy, cleaveland show never got an identity apart from it being family guy, and then it died.
