I've just recently gotten all my shit set up to actually be able to put on a quality stream, but because of fortunate/unfortunate timing I decided to take a chance and pour all of my current resources into the niji audition, and I'm a bit hesitant to use them now as an indie venture (as was the original plan) until I get rejected. I don't really know if that's the right move or not, but I'd rather not "waste" anything they'd think is otherwise usable.

I've got a good live2d model from an artist with a bit of a name, and I believe a good story (and name I'm probably too attached to at this point) to go along with it. Beyond that I also have backgrounds, background music, and a few other custom stream bits. They didn't promote premade male designs like they did with the girls, so I'm not sure if it gives me any more of an edge than showing my dedication to the idea of streaming. If I had to scrap it all anyway that would be fine, but I'm leaning more towards hedging my bets if there's anything they can use and means less work for them.

1. I want to make some new friends to start things off, there's nothing better in my opinion. I want to get to know who's watching my videos in order to get a lasting relationship with them.
2. I want to have fun and make even more friends! Getting to know people and having fun, sharing joy with people is the real reason that I do these things. I can't really think of anything else. I don't plan on playing the numbers game, so I guess my end goal is making content that can make someone really smile?
3. How many people say something like "This made my day better!" Or something similar, even a "lol" would be pretty cool to see.
4. ...Yes...?
5. All my milestones are personal if you count it as non-numbers-based! I'm not one to care about numbers.
6. I've learned that being shy to share your content will never help you improve. Even the mean comments can be helpful if you look past the bad stuff and only look at what they're really poking at!

4. I really only just started, and am pleasantly surprised to be getting viewers, subs, and having fun figuring everything out, so I'd say these are helpful metrics for the time being.
5. Having my first stream the other day! After a few tests and learning how to use OBS, I posted here, and was delighted that people showed up to watch.

Doing almost none of that so far, just trying to stream and leave the VODs up for now. Though I did excerpt something from the stream into its own video, no other editing than that so far. I'm pretty much brand new to the production side of things. I'm still just getting to grips with OBS. I suppose I could produce more videos to put in a music playlist, but half the fun for me is doing it on stream while people watch me build it up part by part.

The animations remind me of Xavier Renegade Angel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the tone seems kind of inconsistent with the comical puns/movements and the more flirty tone of the girl's voice and the music. I'd pay attention to the overall feel of the video more and make clear what vibe you'd want it to have through music, composition, etc.

>> No.6322888

>>6322829
Agreeing with this anon, it feels like there's a mismatch in the tone between the two VAs. The lines read like they should be really quippy and back and forth, but there's some awkward pauses throughout. It's not really my type of humor (though I appreciate the puns) but it feels like it needs to be snappier. I think you've definitely got a good thing going, and can just tighten up the graphics on level 3, feel me?

Might not be good advice from me but I figure that the modern internet has the attention span of 30 seconds. I always try to get to the punch line as fast as possible but that isn't always the case so I try to stimulate people's ADHD by constantly changing the tone of the recording. Have you ever watched comedians? Each sentence they say feels completely different from the last when they perform. They do tone shifts, pauses, facial expression, body language. Basically your content might be too monotonous. I also notice you're using only two camera angles. Maybe experiment with more camera angles. Point the camera at the cock or pussy or just be random as fuck and just throw a random banana in the scene.

This might be overkill underneath.
"Study architecture in pairs" -> Flash the Eiffle tower.
"Medical leave" -> Flash scene of chad doctor
"OD" -> flash cocaine
etc.
This part might not be good advice since I'm basically telling you to throw in as much transitions as possible to satiate the attention span of the modern zoomer but this is my video directing style.

Your singing has room for potential! I recommend looking up basic lessons from vocal coaches on YouTube. I think if you didn't hold yourself back as much, projected your voice, and learned to steady your vibrato a bit it wouldn't be half bad. Keep at it!

You need lots more practice m8, if I'm being fully brutally honest. Sounds like you have a decent voice but you really struggle with those long notes, we can hear your voice shaking. It's pretty bad.

I'd say to focus on NOT singing in your streams, since it'd be a bit of a turn off for viewers. You can probably practice it in your free time, since you definitely have a good voice, but don't subject your audience to it.

Musicanon/barbershop anon here. So, first impressions are that you need to work on your breath support, and you need to work on maintaining pitch. I gave a lot of breathing advice in the last thread, but in short, sit up straight, feet rooted to the ground, and take deep, diaphragmatic breaths. Put your hand right below your ribcage and feel that expand when you take the deep breath.

As far as pitch goes, it was a little all over the place. It might be better if you're singing to a backing track instead of unaccompanied. I think it would be a good idea to go on YouTube and do some pitch matching exercises, and some ear training exercises. Maybe record yourself so you can compare, and see if you're actually on the right notes or not.

You're no lost cause or anything, no one is, but I think there's a lot of fundamental work you need to do to be able to walk before you can run and add singing as a central pillar of your streams. Unless you want to start off as a completely novice singer, but let your audience watch your process of getting better. That could be something. Either way, keep up the good work, anon!
