I'm a Yugiboomer. The game comes and goes. It's definitely gotten faster, but there are good and bad formats even past that era. High HAT, Nekroz/BA/Shaddoll era, post-Mermaid ban TOSS are all good. Also, casual players hated Tear 0 and Zoodiacs due to low deck diversity, but all the ultra sweats loved it because the better player consistently won the mirrors.
