Musicwise that is 90% correct, all the talents before IRyS had to take money out of their own pockets if they wish to produce their music, and in most cases they had to make their own connections to the producer/mixer, only some exceptions were obviously any shill songs.
Cover is using IRyS to harvest on their success going into the second half of 2021, the production value for her MV alone is already ridiculously high (though they should have put more of that money of her fucking model).
The only thing Ame and Kiara were wrong about was thinking that a corporate like Cover would ever prioritize them, or equality between them over the company's own bottomline.
