This is only semi related but does anyone else have trouble with Youtube recommending roommate streams? I don't watch face reveal videos or anything of the sort, but sometimes when I'm watching certain streams the roommate channel appears in the recommended area on the side. Got surprised one day clicking it, thinking it was a random utawaku and hearing a very familiar voice.

Youtube recommends based on shared viewership and what people who like the video watch. So if a decent portion of the people who watched the same video have watched roommate stuff and that stuff does well algorithmically, youtube will show you roommate stuff. Roommate videos probably have above average click rates which is why they get pushed so hard by the algorithm.
