so i saw this channel that is getting 3k on Vstats and got curious.

Turns out it's a corporate channel for Heiwa Corp an old-time Pachinko and Pachislop producer. The YT account was created and started uploading 8 years ago, but their vtubers were only debuted last year.

They are a pair, HaruLuna, consisting of Haru and Luna. They do pachinko streams regularly, but also have personal vtubing content on the channel. Picrel was their 3D live 3 days ago, genuinely Edo idols, very japanese and NND feeling.

Obviously my limited research might not uncover everything, but this looks like one of the few corporate mascots that do get treated well and enabled as vtubers. Having 3D after 1 year is good, and they seem to be enjoying their job.

I tried to play all of them, the writing was just too low quality for me. The best one was star rail, which I think compares favorably as a JRPG at least mechanically to e.g. a DQ11. Or it would, if not for the fact that it's one of the newer ones they've made so there isn't much content yet. And the content that does exist is again, really badly written.

I guess a holo could do what Ema or other genshin streamers do and put it in their stream content rotation. If too many do it the numbers won't be so good though. Part of the reason there's a niche for the Nerumeros and the Emas to fill is that Holo don't play it. If all of a sudden they got involved the audience would probably disperse and make the game more of a debuff.
