One thing I’d like to tack on to the last thread is we just don’t know how other girls truly reacted behind the scenes. Coco’s plan to graduate was known to the company months in advance. From our perspective she was doing more and more collabs and Hololive looked like it was patching things up. In reality multiple girls were distraught or considered following her out.

It is a very difficult situation for everyone in hololive, most of all for Mel herself who has the weight of her mistake + the weight of "failing her fans" + the weight of "failing her colleagues/mama" and the momentous weight of failing herself. Give it time.
If every single affected holo went full Festival it would only lead to chaos.

If you believe that Mel made true friends there, and that she wasn't stupid enough to just hang out repeatedly with the same people for 6 years even if they didn't like her or were at best indifferent, then just be content with the the knowledge that the ones that mattered to Mel most are in pain too, they are just not able to display it as we can because they'll have a million eyes scrutinizing them.
I've tried to watch other streams, anything to get my mind of things. It didn't work. In a detached way it rankled me that everything was business as usual. But it has to be this way. If Mel had been granted a proper send off then we'd be seeing a very different reaction, perhaps more in line of what you want to see. As it is nobody could've prepared for this and so proceeding as scheduled keeps their mind off things. This event would've put such anxiety into every single holo:

Based on the last couple threads no one wants to let Mel go from the general, myself included, since it was originally hers to begin with and would keep the memory alive. Roboco and Matsuri were two of the main suggestions to ask to add, being connected to Choco and Aki while their own generals don't last too long anymore. There were also anons receptive to adding Ririka, giving her a place to be discussed at all.

This makes me think... Didn't she used to do papa katsu in the past? I wasn't there for it, but if I remember correctly, it was about 100,000 yen for a real life date with her. What's so sad about this is how few fans she has. She already has a small fan base before, but she shortened them even further when collabing with men and streamers, gaining absolutely nothing from that but "owning the schizo's/incel's" and losing a big money spending and passionate part of her audience. I’ll admit I don’t know much about vshojo, but I kind of want “Mel” to join. A big reason I got into her were her 3Dlives. I would hate if she never got to do them again, and I feel like vshojo is her biggest chance of getting to perform on stage. That way she might also finally get a nendoroid. I also trust Kson to take good care of her. I think it would be nice for Mel to have a work friend group in her and Pikamee.

Vshojo could work but I would like to see a true effort at a JP branch form. Mirai Akari was hinted at eventually rebirthing there and if they were to pair her and Mel and maybe 1 more to all debut close together then I could see something there and her still being able to do things with others.
