Nearly 100% of my free time. I finished n4 now I'm going out into the wild with anime and Manga. It's a fucking reckoning. 8 minutes into one beginner show and I get 38 words I do not know. The Grammer is almost a complete enigma but I can figure it out from the vocabulary.

To a degree, yes. However you're going to get a lot more efficiency in actively studying with something like anki. Other big downside is that you'll only be able to hear jap and be entirely illiterate

i did not expect a genuine answer, thanks for replying anon. one of the biggest issues for me on anki is that my brain completely shuts down and i'll need to press at least 10 "again" on 1 word to remember it for the day, it's too exhausting learning 20 cards per day.

no one does 20 a day except ultra autists. start with 5 and increase it to 7 or 10 later on depending on how you're feeling.

I try to help anyone who genuinely wants to learn. Other slight problem is that you might end up speaking like your chuuba.

Wait, really? I've been doing 20 new cards a day for a while and yeah after the first 8 or 10 they don't stick

I've seen a lot of anons recommend kanda from nijisanji to do listening reps in since his speaking is so clear, he did a presentation on how to speak clearly for those who'd be interested in watching it's
fairly useful https://youtube.com/watch?v=HjEQHppdAN0

If you can handle 20 cards go for it, but it seems like you're having issues with it so just scale it back.

Someone like Kanda or Hayate seem pretty good for listening.
Unfortunately I have begun speaking like someone from the sticks like my oshi and occasionally autopilot feminine pronouns like うち or あたし which a little concerning.

iKnow.

It's a subscription based thing but pretty good for expanding your vocab. Grammar wise it doesn't teach you shit but I studied JP at the Uni for a bit so I've got that shit down.

It's extra good for quick Kanji recognition which has helped me a fuck ton when it comes to reading.

If you are starting from 0 and make no effort otherwise, not likely. At a minimum you would need to learn grammar and from there make frequent use of a dictionary to learn the meanings of words you repeatedly hear.

Go buy Genki and learn the grammar and basics. Japanese is a VERY homophonic language and you won't be able to contextualize anything just by listening.
