Ame is trying to innovate, while a lot of the streams she's done aren't exactly new, after all no one will reinvent the wheel, the way she is quick to come up with new stuff on the spot and adapt to Hololive's reality is her way of showing hololive that she was in fact a good choice. The thanksgiving, Halloween, new years streams, outfit reveal, Fishtank, 3DVR, deep sea creature/bug and charity streams, were all top notch streams and show how interesting her stuff can be, outside of gaming.
Her collaborations with her JP senpai despite the language barrier have a few layers to them, to build friendships, to draw in the Jp fanbase, and to show she's got what it takes.
She isn't like coco, because she isn't and never will be, and her innovations aren't really innovations per se, but among hololive, they are unique, and give her a place among the group as a whole.
When she eventually gets 3D, I think we'll see something even cooler, since thats her specialty. The experience she has with 3D, and the possibilities with a full fledged model and the tools she'll have access at home will make her an even more unique talent in Hololive.

Calli is really talented in her music (despite whether you like it or not, she is one of the most successful musicians in Hololive).

Ame is the most experienced streamer on different streaming platforms and utilizes that experience to come up with some really smart ideas that (mostly) hit it out of the park. She is a support beacon for her other genmates and will generally push herself to go out of her comfort zone to improve as a streamer.

Ina is incredibly talented at art (obviously), bounces off other people really well (in all branches) and is also naturally charismatic.

Kiara is trilingual, has experience in the idol industry, is probably the most "JP-style" vtuber in EN, and is really good at getting people to come out of their shells and engage in conversation, especially in collabs.

They all compliment each other really well, and in general make the group well rounded enough to where you'll most likely like at least one of them.
