Zaion was a stupid goblin that kind of deserved the termination, but the way NijiEN went about it was just fucking retarded and unnecessarily spiteful. Her being new also meant nobody really had an attachment to her yet, and all of her genmates clearly disliked her.
Meanwhile Selen is one of the most beloved NijiEN members, has been in the company for years, and got terminated for a completely fucking retarded reason. All while working her ass off for big projects at her own expense. Unlike with Zaion there's multiple indies, artists, and other creators vouching on her behalf as well.
Worth noting that the Zaion thing was NijiEN's first real major yab, and people just assumed it'd be a one-off. It's only once more yabs and graduations started rolling in and talents like Pomu began alluding to incompetent managment that people woke up to NijiEN being shit. Selen's termination was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
