I've tried it on and off.
I like it now because they added the arena which is pretty fun but the TTK is still way too long imo. I dont necessarily like instant ttks like a lot of games have. But apex takes fucking forever unless your barrel is down their throat.

Something like titanfall 2 ttk would be good (minus the instant health regen). Slow enough people aren't usually instant dying, but fast enough you're not constantly blowing entire magazines into 1 person 5 feet away.

But whatever I digress, purple dragon was really good so I'm down for watching her play at least.

for absolute beginners: go to practice and learn all the guns. Don't worry about recoil/spread or whatever, just learn the effective ranges of guns and how the guns themselves look/names of guns. Playing one game when you know what the gun can do is much more efficient than just running in with whatever.

After that learn positioning. When to push, when to stay back. This will come from experience, but paying attention to it will help you improve much quicker. Movement is a big part of this, so it might be a good idea to look up how pros move (yes, even when you're a beginner) and focus on one thing for a few games. I'd say, go as far as ruining the chances of winning if you can practice a certain move. I'd say start with sprint slide jump.

When you get those 2 things down you'll pretty much know what areas you're lacking in and can decide what to work on next.

Part of the reason why I like apex's TTK is because you can actually fight back even if they shot you first. That opens up so much room for outplays and made snipers less cancer to deal with.

BIGSTAR+DaruSaka+Masanori in Pico Park is kino. Chihiro and Mondo is a great new pairing. OreApo is kino. Hal is still good. APEX LOVE!

The whole point of the community tourneys is to have a variety of people to mix and match points with. Its fine as long as they don't make mistakes in giving points like scoring Greedz the same as a Plat. Sure he doesn't play APEX but he was a legit pro in other FPS.
