The board was never good in the first place. When sharkmeido was discussing this place's creation with Hololive Global, many replies mentioned that it'll just become something like the cesspit it is. Things were only "good" because of harsh moderation, like with the crucification of frogposters and twitter screencap threads, but after only a month of that, its landscape remained the same to this day.

It's not that it's a drama board, it's literally an eceleb guerilla marketing board. The rules, back when they were enforced, made /vt/ just a free marketing tool for talents and agencies rather than a place of free discussion

This shithole actually adhered to the kayfabe rules more than any other place on the internet even though we're (technically) anonymous as opposed to faggit, youtube, twitter etc. /vt/ is a late adopter when it comes to being honest about vtubers and the drama surrounding them because even the fucking normiesphere doesn't follow the gay, largely self imposed, rules that were enforced here for so long

So yes it's definitely become a dramaboard but the problem was that it was a flat out fucking marketing board, which went against the no marketing global rule of 4chan.
