I've no idea. I was looking into it a couple weeks ago because it didn't make sense. You can see their metrics across the board start to slide in Oct of 2022 after a really good year. CCV took longer to decline than new subs, new subs reduced by 80% for all talents and never recovered.

I've brought this up in a few different threads and no one else remembers anything else significant happening during that time period either.

I compared Niji to Hololive EN for the same periods and Hololive's lower bound has been relatively static since 2022. So I've just been assuming Nijisanji stopped paying for subs.
