What I have in mind is “don’t hate death (for) death’s radiance is the everlasting light of/at the end” although it’s a pretty direct translation that doesn’t include nuances that I put into it. I would say the first sentence’s more like “don’t fear the reaper” and the “light at the end” is also meant to invoke the image of a dawn over the mountain (since tenzal means both mountain and end according to the archive) that will never go dark (unlike the actual moving sun) and I feel this sense of finality fits how /morig/ philosophy sees death

All you need is to mix carbon-dioxide gas in water to carbonate it. Yeast does it naturally which is why beer and ale is bubbly. It's also how bread made with yeast rises.

That said dry ice is an easy way to carbonate water. Another way to make carbon-dioxide is mixing vinegar with baking soda. You can actually capture the gas by pouring it because it's heavier than the atmosphere. Though I don't know how good the yield is.

Another gas you can use is Nitrogen. Though liquid nitro cold brew is a bit sophisticated.

I want to make my own mayonnaise because all of them here have seed oils. I tried using my crappy blender. It didn't work. I need to buy a proper food processor. Half of salad dressings use mayonnaise since it doesn't spoil as fast at room temperature as sour cream. I wonder if KFP has beer battered chicken. Beer battered fish and onion rings is amazing. It was a shit Black and Decker blender that hasn't been taken care of. It barely worked when I used it. I just need to watch a video after getting a better food processor. Anyways mayo can be done in this age with a hand crank blender. Since mayo is egg it'd be a KFP thing. Lemon trees and honey would also be great things to have that compliments chicken. Butter honey sauce is great on chicken and biscuits.

Huh, yeah you'd get a lot of condensation, I worked at a place with a walk-in freezer and during the humid summer months you could get a really impressive amount of ice buildup. Maybe the museum could have some metal objects for the ice to accumulate on and bring the humidity levels down.
Speaking of magic, I mentioned Vinag wizards using some kind of fog magic in the story, but actually I think I had that war story from Vitubia in mind, but it's probably also a thing in Viti, right? Since that's basically a cold/water spell.

Would the /vtwbg/ Island be full of crustaceans like crab, shrimp, and rock lobster? I think those and octopi would love living in the rocks and tide pools. We could have rock turtles that have talons on their claws that hang onto the rockface cliffs. Turtles love grass and sea grass but they also love crustaceans. So their bites can snap off fingers. Most tide pools are rocky me thinks. The erosion of high tide keeps them clean of sand. Anyway tide pools are great for crustaceans because sometimes fish get trapped in the pools; then they starve or get eaten. Rockface turtles would have an easy meal. Also clams and oysters would be easy food to harvest in tide pools.

Just have to keep in mind the breeding cycles of turtles when hunting. There is a sandy cliff for the turtles to lay eggs. And when the eggs hatch the baby turtles run off the cliff to dive in the high tide water. During that time predator birds will pick off the soft shelled babies. And even in the sea the soft-shelled babies can be eaten by big fish like sharks. So turtles develop nasty attitudes to bite anything that approaches them. In other words they are salt-water snapping turtles. Great defense against overboard pirates trying to raid us.

I'm just spec-bioing the animals based on native climate. The anon who proposed the /vtwbg/ island said there's ruins based on when it was abandoned. Only recently has it been re-settled. I said the island's a great spot for a Galapogos style port. Meaning sailors use the island to rest and restock food. I'm thinking with the advent of airships it'd be a great trade port now at least. But take what I'm writing with a grain of salt.

Archiving documents I think would be done via commissions by the rulers and wealthy as they want to archive their versions of history. The resupply port is the real money maker. That and if you can trade commodities like spices, tobbaco, gold, and treasures you can make some extra money. And we'd be a great spot to defend treasure with rocky cliffs and sharp stones around most of the island. That said a blockade would be our weakness as there's only a few points of landing. Which is why /vtwbg/ is neutral to everybody me thinks.

We're also a great spot for airships as well.

I'm thinking about planning airship routes via air currents. At least for Baker-chan and Ryely.

I'm pretty sure airships can land on land without scraping the hull if you have wheels and breaks. Tethering might be better if the balloon is always full. All you would have to do before docking is fire the rope at the tethering station. Then the machine will pull the ship in slowly until it's ready to land. Then you gently pull the ship to the ground where it deflates and packs the balloon. Every ship when landing has to undergo maintenance and inspection before it is allowed to fly again.

Well that was a dinner. If you have unused beef roast and don't know what to cook it in then you can thin slice it, lightly marinate it with soh sauce, then stir fry it with carrots and broccoli.

This is actually something I feel we need a consensus on this time.

I'm personally of the opinion that while the representation of the nation of X general is completely in the hands of the ones that write for it and they are given full freedom to do with it as they see fit, if said general falls apart(in the cases of the singular chuuba generals) or sees a drastic change(like tsunx for example) in the chuuba identities/graduations that should be reflected in lore.
If a general falls apart due to their chuuba graduating, while the events are fully in the hands of its writer still, the lore should be pushed towards making it a "dead state" i.e. something that cannot interact with the wider world in any meaningful capacity any longer and is more of an npc setpiece.
And as long as that premise is upheld, if the writer still wishes to do so, he can shape the future lore of it however he wishes

I also recall the free press wasn't really a thing until the colonial days in the US. If you spoke against the king he would take your stuff if you're lucky and cut off your head if you weren't. And it's not that news travels as fast as horseback. It was actually slower because back then you had to typeset stories manually then stamp them to the paper. Newspapers, and I mean the physical paper, were actually very small back then. You only had so much time to typeset, print, and fold the paper. Once industrial era happened newspaper printing became streamlined which made daily papers possible. Of course telephones and tape recorders revolutionized the speed of news. I remember websites in the late 90s and how colleges, schools, and newspapers reee'd about it.

In recent times, about 100 or so years back, Nero Eterna has developed their pickle and preserve industry over the century. Today, Neronian pickles are what most pickle-makers look to as the gold standard.

Pickles coming from Nero Eterna can be used as ingredients for either food, potions, chemicals or enchantments.

The game has Runeswords, which drain health equivalent to damage dealt.
In Aurorai, those are made by baking in the juice of a preserved vampire fang into a sword made of Yozonium, an ore which can only be harvested from the Neronian highland, mainly in north Lysithea, southeast Knoll, and west Canas.
