It's a shame that there aren't many Western Vtubers who can abide by this. The main concept of Vtubers is to act as anime characters, fictional life forms that live in another dimension, and behave as if they are real, but I am fed up with the number of people who show their faces on their Vtuber accounts.
I don't usually get into things like Westernization and culture wars, but I see Vtubers who ignore the most fundamental meaning as fake people who just jumped on the current trend without prior knowledge.
I'm more of a Westaboo person like Korone, and I've always had a certain amount of respect for the West, but this kind of behavior shows that the concept and existence of Vtubers has become a convenient toy for them. It makes me sad to see that.
There is a reason why Kson is viewed negatively from many quarters (including Hololive fans).
Her viewpoints and word choices that don't fit this industry (idol = slave, legitimate criticism = slander, etc.), and her attitude of breaking taboos in her Vtuber activities have turned away many HakoOshi and Coco fans, and now She even harbors hostility towards them.
