on its own, being an elf isnt much. but her community already has multiple jokes that would be lost if she changed. elf, rat, penguin, volcano. any of it can or cant work, depending on how you portray it and what and how your community latches onto that portrayal.

ELFBI, fae luck, FaeBI, etc, are all intrinsically tied to and grown out of the elf part of her persona, and would be lost and hard to replicate if replaced.
I suppose shes still small enough to where a maybe she can just not care about a rebrand, but its still losing growth and momentum shes built up, and easily could offput viewers she currently has that like the culture of the community already being presented.

there's just a lot of things that add to this, i only went with the whole elf thing because my viewers said it would make sense cuz of the name "elfinpsyop", although when i came up with this name, the elfin part was only chosen because it meant "small"; thus , a small psyop.

lore wise, rat would make sense as my whole gimmick is being an experiment all in all, sent to space etc - and the glowing rat meme just adds to it.
