This happens more to the musically inclined Holos, because it's easier to run out of music then it is VoDs.

Moving past that, you then have the people who're curious about the person behind the avatar and wonder if they're genuine and why they're doing the vtuber thing. If you just are a casual fan and don't engage in any community where it's taught behavior to not do so, it's easy to not have any basis for thinking that information should be verboten, especially if you aren't doing anything more with it then observing. This can be seen by how if you introduce a vtuber to someone outside of the communities, one of the first questions they'll have is 'what do they look like'?
