I wonder if the fact that Marine didn't have any brothers made her less interested in more male oriented action games, unlike Pekora who grew up with two older brothers and enjoys almost any game even those that are heavily geared towards a male audience such as Metal gear and Yakuza.

Games like this are challenging in the wrong way arguably, this has really strong point-and-click adventure game logic energy where you have to combine stuff in ridiculous, unforseeable ways and it ends up mostly just being trial and error.

But it is still pretty fun, I'd just say it's carried by the cute animations and character interactions.

I mean Marine was into Tokimemo, Sakura Taisen, Touhou, and Tales games, which are all super heavily male-oriented. They're just male-oriented because they have cute girls that straight men are supposed to be drawn in by as opposed to violence and action. The fact that they caught Marine too is mostly just because she's a lot more gay than average and she has that weird fascination with female VAs and char designs.

The problem comes that she apparently (I don't remember if she has ever confirmed it) thinks that making multi-part let's plays bores her audience, and it's partly true, I wouldn't put up with 20 parts of the same game with multi-hour streams but on the other hand I'd like to relax after work opening a cold one and enjoy watching a silly anime girl playing a game I've enjoyed playing
